Where talent meets opportunity

Why we exist?
Talent is universal.
Opportunity is not.
Every year, about 1 million first-generation low-income students enroll in college. These are students with ambition and potential.
But they face barriers: financial, academic, and social. Right now, only 1 in 4 first gen students will graduate with a bachelor’s degree—compared to nearly 3 in 5 of their peers with a parent who completed college (source).
Squared scholars chart a different path. In three years, we move from uncertain futures to being Squared away for college.
“I am a first-generation college graduate. I always dreamed of becoming a physician.
Without (HS)2, I would have never prepared myself for higher education.” - Sabrina, Medical School Student
